Restoring An Old Hand Saw (Hand Tool Woodworking)
I recently picked up this Disston D8 hand saw to replace the rip saw I have been using in the woodshop for the last couple years. The saw was in pretty rough shape so in this video, I show how I cleaned it up and sharpened it. My goal was to keep the character and patina of this 100+ year old hand saw but still make it an excellent every day user.

For some content with more detailed instructions on sharpening hand saws, these videos from Paul Sellers and Lie Nielsen Toolworks really helped me out when i first started sharpening my own https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA5Di... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F72FB...
